About Josh
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University at Commerce with a degree in Pre-Medical Biological Science. While I tutor in a wide range of subjects, my passion is algebra. I was a classroom teacher for 8 years. I taught pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, biology, physics, engineering, and psychology. Before I was a teacher, I spent three years as a personal tutor. I pride myself on my ability to teach students to utilize problem solving methodology and techniques for test taking by creating unique learning activities to accommodate different learning styles.
I love working with students to help them find success no matter the subject matter. Every student is unique and each student has a unique learning style. My goal is to identify each student's unique learning style so that I can differentiate instruction to help students take ownership of their learning.
