About Bari
I love seeing a concept or a topic finally "click" when tutoring students. It is incredibly rewarding to see a student understand something I have taught them.
I have always loved school, especially math and science, so I decided to start tutoring when I was in 6th grade.
I graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and a minor in business. I took extensive math and science courses at school and tutored throughout both middle and high school. I tutored students of all ages, ranging from elementary to high school, and tutored various math and science subjects including geometry, algebra, trigonometry, earth science, and more.

I like to get to know the student before beginning the lesson. I want to understand how the student learns best, as all students learn in different ways. I then work with them to teach them the general topic or subject of interest, work through practice questions step by step, and then provide them with additional practice questions for them to do on their own. This way, they can become more than comfortable with the subject matter.
I have worked with students of all ages, ranging from elementary school to 12th grade.
Do not let the frustration make you give up. Everyone has different ways of learning and it takes a different amount ot time for each student to learn the same subject. It can get frustrating when you see other students understanding a subject that you do not, but if you give it time and take it step by step, you will understand it too.
