About Sarah

I'm an engineering undergraduate college student who has historically excelled in all STEM classes included but not limited to: all math classes, biology, physics, chemistry, etc. I am also minoring in Spanish and have studied abroad in Spain recently for 3 months, so I can help with Spanish language, reading, writing, and speaking as well.

I have been a tutor at my University for peers, I am currently a Golf Coach for high schoolers, and I have tutored and coached younger children so I can adapt tutoring needs to any age categories.

My current GPA is 3.97/4.00.

I love learning and I LOVE to help others learn and see growth from students. My approach to tutoring and teaching is not to give out answers, but to teach the mind how to think and how to approach different problems. I will help you through your classes and be a friendly face that'll help make you excited to get help in your subject.

With the current situation of schooling being online, I wanted to find a way to use my skills to help others during this hard time. I know many people may struggle not having hands-on helps from teachers or professors, and I want to lend a hand for those who need help.

About the lesson

I like to get a feel for their comfort level of the subject, know what they are working on, and help them identify their own strengths and weaknesses on the subject. If there is any specific questions or problems my student may have, I try and address those as quickly as possibly by showing examples of how to approach those problems.

I've worked with college students at basic math and science levels. I've worked with high school students as high as AP science and math levels, as well as Spanish. I've also worked with students aging from 9 - 12 during elementary-middle school.

I was once in your shoes! I am fairly young, I know how classes from elementary-college work today and I want to help you master the material to build great foundations for future classes or help you simply pass the class. :)
