About Iris
I prioritize making sure the student knows why an answer is correct, rather than drilling it into their minds. I'm currently a student so I have a lot of valuable tips and tricks to share on how to be successful in the classroom.
I enjoy watching people become excited about something they're learning. Even if it's not pure excitement, at least it makes sense and their mind "clicks".
I've completed AP Caculus and AP Macroeconomics, earning A's in the classes and 5's on the AP Exam. I've gotten A's in all the courses I've taken, including all math from Algebra I to Calculus, Biology, Earth Science, World History, and English 9&10. I have a broad and general knowledge of the subjects kids will study.

I find out what they understand starting from the basics, and see if there are any gaps there. Then make sure they have an understanding of the subject, and not just looking for the answers with no reason.
Find someone who is patient and figure out exactly where you lost your understanding. Focus on what makes sense and ask for help when things start to not make sense.
