About Ruth
Hello! I am a high school senior interested in tutoring. I've been honor roll all four years of high school, and I am currently a National Merit Scholar finalist. I believe that it's very important to personalize tutoring for each individual student depending upon both their needs, and their learning style. It's important to be patient, encouraging, and kind while teaching. Because I know it's also important to provide examples of my educational experience, I would like to include that I have scored 5s on the AP US History, World History, and Literature exams, as well as a 4 on the AP Chemistry exam. I also have proficiency in Spanish, and am more than willing to do bilingual sessions for any new English Learners, as well as students who want to take new initiatives to challenge themselves in multiple areas of study at once.
