I try to understand what they already know, and what they don't know. For subjects like algebra and geometry, you need to know other types of math because you need that other type of math as the base for the math you are trying to learn, thats why you have to take algebra before geometry because algebra is the basis for geometry! Then I try to help them with their current learning issue!
