About Anna
I am passionate about supporting students and families as they achieve their educational goals! After graduating with a BA in Elementary Education and receiving my Teacher's Liscence, I taught and tutored in both the public and private sectors for over two years. I am well acquainted with the rigourous standards and expectations of all levels of elementary school, and I have a passion for helping students learn in their own unique way! I hope to partner with students and families to promote deeper learning and understanding.
I enjoy spending time with students in small group or one-on-one settings, so we can get to know and trust each other. The better I know your student, the more comfortable he or she will be with me, and we will be able to grow together in a supportive environment. I enjoy helping students use their strengths (some they might not realize they have), in order to overcome barriers they are facing in their education. Each child is unique and gifted in their own way, and I believe tutoring is a wonderful way to develop those talents and unique forms of learning.
