About Olivia
Hi! I am an undergrad at Caltech studying Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. I have experience tutoring high school math and science. I especially love tutoring algebra and chemistry.
I have tutored all levels of high school math both for pay and volunteer. Additionally, I have tutored SAT math and ACT math and science.
I love watching a student's confidence improve as they begin to grasp concepts they once struggled with. Often students can fall behind or become confused because they missed one important detail early in the course. I like to help them learn that concept so that they have a solid foundation moving forward. I focus more on understanding the material than solving specific problems so that the student is not only successful on that one assignment but rather in the whole course.
