About Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia. I am from Perry Hall, MD and am looking for summer tutoring jobs in my area. I just graduated from Mercy High School at the top of my class. In the fall, I am headed to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA to study pharmacy. Throughout high school, I have tutored many fellow students, primarily in the subject of math. Math has always been my strongest subject. I have earned excellence awards in classes ranging from Algebra I to AP Calculus.

My schedule is very flexible throughout the summer. I can provide my own transportation to you within 5 miles. While I prefer in person tutoring, I will also do online tutoring due to Coronavirus. I can also work with my students to continue tutoring sessions in an online setting throughout the school year if need be. If this is the case, I would need you to work with me and my college schedule.

I love helping others. As a current student myself, I want to help others fully understand and take advantage of the education they are receiving. I believe that if you learn to love a subject, you will inherently improve. I hope to spread my love for math to those I tutor.

I have a high school diploma. I have completed Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. Throughout high school, I have tutored many of my fellow classmates in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I begin by testing them to see which topics they are strong in and and which topics they require more work in.

I have primarily worked with high school students, aged 14-16.
