About Essoufia

Every child thinks about what to do when they grow up, and every child changes their mind about a hundred times. I admit that I changed my mind frequently until I started high school. I wanted to be everything from a princess to a firefighter, but in high school I decided that one day I would be a teacher. I wanted to be a teacher because I think that our nation is lacking in teachers that want to teach. We have an abundance of teachers that teach because it is their job, not their passion. I used to help my friends during college , I teached young kids for basic maths and english. I have a bachelor degree in aerospace engineering and C1 in English, C1 in Frensh, A2 in Spanish, and B1 in German.

I started teaching during colloge, I tried home teaching , students from lower degree than mine.

About the lesson

When working with a prospect, the most important aspect of the entire process is buildinga rapport. At this point in time, students have potentially struggled with various topics, sothe importance of instilling confidence in them before any tutoring begins is essential totheir success. Nevertheless, prior to scheduling sessions, I like to meet with the studentand/or parent(s). We work hand in hand to build their specialized plan of action. Studentscreate a detailed description of their current situation and their desired results. Next, wecome up with a set of goals and how to implement the plan of action appropriately in orderto accomplish said results. This plan depends on the immediate needs of the student, butmany plans include some sort of accommodation to pre and post-session communication inorder to track progress.

Teens , childrens, college students.

The odds that you will find a teacher who is truly excellent in every area are slim to none...Teaching is hard. If it weren’t so rewarding, I think I would go find an easier profession. Maybe alligator wrestling. So, if finding the perfect teacher is impossible, what does it mean to find the “right teacher?” The right teacher is someone who effectively works with your family to create a positive learning experience for your child. This will be different for each child and each family, so all what you have to do is to be honest and clear in your assesment of your child's needs and weaknesses, insist on trial session or trial period , never start with just a conversation, look for a teacher who will provide clear , written goals for the week.
