About Ashe
I offer concise, targeted tutoring. I will pinpoint and address the student's weaknesses without wasting time on fluff and review. I am experienced, professional, and versatile.
Teaching is it's own reward. Whenever I can help a student understand something they've been struggling with, I feel a deep sense of pride and happiness.
I currently work as an LSAT tutor for Premier LSAT, and have been tutoring math and science for a total of 7 years prior. I worked onsite for a year at a tutoring facility focused on elementary and middle school children. I have also worked as an editor for college admissions essays, totaling nearly 75 clients.

My process is different for every student, but ultimately two major elements recur in my tutoring:
1. Work with the student to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
2. Build the student's confidence in their own intuitions whenever possible.
I have worked with students of all ages, ranging from elementary school to adults older than myself. I have the most experience with high-school age students, though I have no issue with any age group.
Rigidity is the sign of a bad tutor. Good tutors understand that there are multiple ways to learn and to teach a subject, and that the best method of teaching a student can only be determined after establishing a quality relationship with them and understanding their strengths and weaknesses. Find a tutor that can respect your student's individual learning style and can actively identify and address their individual needs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I will ask questions specific to each student, but generally it would be helpful to know beforehand the following:
1. What aspects of this subject do you struggle with?
2. What aspects of this subject do you excel at?
Everything else can be discussed as it becomes relevant.
