About Brittany

I am currently a senior at Cal Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo and I am majoring in Liberal Studies. As of recently found my passion for wanting to teach. I have always worked with kids, through childcare, education, and coaching. I have 8+ years experience with working with kids. I have a lot of experience in both math and science classes. I prefer to tutor for Elementary Math, Algebra, Algebra 2. But I have taken Advanced Math, Stats, Geometry, and Pre Calculus at Las Positas Community College. I have taken Biology, Zoology, Astronomy, Chemistry, Nutrition, and Food Science classes in both Community and State college. I would love to use my knowledge to help other students succeed. I also had many tutors growing up so I have a great idea on how to organize lessons. I will help students understand concepts, go over problems, any homework questions, and provide multiple solutions to better a students understanding.

Have worked with children in childcare from ages 3months to 12 years of age. I have coached kids in basketball from first through middle school. I also have experience in school classrooms from volunteering and assistant teaching.

AA degree in Liberal Arts. Math and Science at Las Posistas Community College. Currently majoring in Liberal Studies at California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo

About the lesson

First I would like to exchange contact information. Email preferrably. I would like to find a time and schedule that works best for the tutoring session. Set up a zoom with the student. I ask that the student either sends pictures of the topics or questions to go over before the zoom session so I can get a glance at the problems and organize everything prior to make the best use of time available.

Learning may seem difficult at first but with practice and the right methods of learning material will come easier. School dosen't always have to be a bad thing or something you don't look forward to. You can apply math to anything especially to things you are interested in to help you understand the concept.
