About Emilia

I take the time to help students understand coursework. I take the time to take a few steps back and cover basic skills, or helpful tricks, if necessary for the students understanding. I love helping students succeed and gain confidence in their mathmetical and problem solving skills.

I am currently studying Physics at Binghamton University, and plan to begin my teaching certification after I graduate in 2022.

I have been tutoring math since middle school through highschool, as volunteer work through the national honors society.

About the lesson

Meet with the student and have an introductory session, where the student can become comfortable working with me and using any technology we will use for the tutoring session. Assess where the student is having difficulty, and then understand how they are approaching problems. Find where the error is, and walk through the problem, step by step, with the student, explaining where they went wrong and how to avoid making similar mistakes.
