About Faizi

I'm in my Junior year of university in Software Engineering, and have been work as a student tutor in Math for the last 2 and a half years.

I've had a lot of experience helping students prepare for tests, complete homework, study and review for exams and simply understand concepts better.

In my Freshman year of College assisting students with intro Algebra and Pre Calculus courses.

I have worked as a student tutor at Ridgewater Community College and St. Cloud State University for 2 and half years in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

About the lesson

I normally break down homework problems or review past examples that the tutee may have trouble with in the past, and try break down the concepts into smaller parts that are easier to understand. I do my best to draw connections to foundational concepts and reinforce existing understanding by accompanying them with exercises and drawing on course material.

High School Students, Middle School Students, College Students.

Identify clearly what youre having trouble with. Reach out to your teacher, go over your school material for the topic(if you have any), watch any appropriate youtube videos, do all you can do on your own. And if youre still having problems reach out to a tutor. I think being able to learn independently is an invaluable skill.

It was the last day of a spring semester at my College and two students i had been tutoring reached out to me with with really kind messages about how they had passed their exams and were grateful for my help throughout the semester. Ive always considered them and their gratitude when i think of why i love tutoring.
