About Maggie
Hi!
My name is Maggie and I am currently an Industrial Engineering student at the University of Florida. One thing I have learned from my highschool and college coursework is that I love math. I started tutoring kids in my neighborhood around 2 years ago, and have loved getting to help them achieve their goals. I have taken up to Calculus 3 in school, and feel confident in being to help other kids in lower level math courses.
My neighbors and family friends know that I am very good in math and asked me to come help their kids with math homework because they could not help them theirselves.
I am a Sophmore at the University of Florida, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering. My major requires lots of math, and I have already taken and passed all my required math courses. Additionally, while I was still in highschool and when I was home from school, I tutored kids in my neighborhood in math and helped them learn and achieve better grades.

I want to start by getting to know them and how they work and learn. This can help me to decide the best ways to help them. Knowing how they learn can ensure that they get the most out of the session. I also like to see where they are at at first so I know what particular areas they need help in. After knowing these things, I can start tutoring in the way that is best for the student.
I have mainly worked with highschool students but love working with kids as well. I have worked with all types of highschool students, from the all Advanced-Placement classes student to the student who is still in a low level math class.
