About John Paul
Are you struggling with the MCAT? Does the format of the test seem impossible to master? I am here to help.
I am a future Med who just gained acceptance to Long school of Medicine. I am overwhelmed with a dream come true, and would like to spend my time before attendance helping others achieve the same dream.
I have been in your shoes, I know that preparation is difficult, and that the nature and extent of the content can be overwhelming. I have been through two cycles of studying for the MCAT. The first time I saw moderate success, but with the second I was able to refine my approach and achieve a 513 along with a perfect score in CARS.
You can do this. And I am excited to be a part of that journey.
I empathize with the stress and uncertainty that comes with studying for the MCAT. It is an unavoidable fact that this test is incredibly important and is a huge moment for many future doctors. I love being able to be a part of continuing that journey, and alleviating just a bit of that stress.
Most of my tutoring has been informal through people that I know or have taken courses in.
I have taken the Princeton Review MCAT course two times each followed by an MCAT exam attempt.
I have a BSA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
I have a Masters in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth.

What I can do for you is help you understand what makes the CARS section, and in general the MCAT, tick. This would work best as a supplement to another course as there are many fantastic generalized reasources out there.
After helping many classmates and freinds, I have developed a method to go through passages one on one and use specific examples to exemplify overall trends on the exam.
