About Shana

When we think of meditation, we automatically relate it to “relaxation” or “feeling good”. In fact, Chan Meditation, one of the most powerful meditation schools, advocates to sit and endure discomforts while meditating in sitting posture. Only hard work and consistent effort will produce genuine results in meditation training.

I am only interested in helping you get what you want and make progress in your practice. I don't teach meditation for profit or fame. If you want solid and concrete results through meditation and improve your life, you can contact me.

After some years of meditation practice at Lu Mountain Temple and went through many intensive retreats, I improved myself inside out and Chan meditation really saved my life. I wanted to help people have an opportunity to learn about Chan meditation so I started to offer classes with my teacher's guidance.

I have been praciticing and training under Dharma Master YongHua and have been teaching meditaton for several years national wide.

About the lesson

I recommend you to join the group class. My classes are designed to help all levels and ages. I have weekly classes in Downey and Pico Rivera (Aug - Sep) and I have many classes in various cities of Los Angeles, the Bay Area and New York.

I can work with all types of students at different levels, ages, educational background, cultures, and religions. If your case is too difficult to handle, I will let you know.

Just be yourself.

I teach weekly classes in Downey and Pico Rivera. Many students made progress and their lives have already improved significantly. Their healths also improved.
