About Kristy
I am a classically trained violinist and viola performer, with a passion for mentoring young people. I strive to achieve the highest standard of excellence in everything I do. Whether it was leading children’s programs at camp or performing on stage at Carnegie Hall, I have learned to put my whole heart into my work and the love the people I work with. As a product of the Suzuki method, I know the technical aspects of music theory and performance, as well as the soft skills of problem-solving and performing under pressure. I love to see young people have that “light bulb moment!” I have a Bachelors degree in music, and I have been teaching for almost 10 years. I would love to work with you!
