About Mary
I have been coaching singers for over 25 years incolleges and privately and absolutely always make sure that the singer is enjoying themselves and is becoming independent enough so that when they go home they have a plan to recreate what they did in their coaching and to feel good about the process
I have a Masters Degree in Vocal Accompanying and Coaching studying with Luciano Pavarotti vocal coach . I have an undergrad degree in Piano Performance with a minor in Voice . I have worked in about 6 or 7 opera houses and also worked as a cocktail pianist accompanying singers . As well I have played for Metropolitan Opera Auditions and given many Masterclasses in Singing. I currently act as a vocal coach and accompanist at Montclair State University preparing all sorts of types of vocal repetoire.
