About Lilo
A mixed media artist from Tijuana, Mexico. Her work varies from Illustration to Painting with an eclectic background fueled by both Mexican and American popular culture which brings a unique perspective on how she perceives life. Lilo’s interest in the arts started at an early age thanks to a family that placed a strong interest in being exposed to the arts, this has been a constant throughout her life,some of her favorite things to do are spending days at museums, go mural hunting and painting. Lilo’s work is inspired by her unique sensibilities, and her work with children as a Pre-school teacher, the goal of Lilo’s artwork has been to reach people through visual arts and help convey a message of community, equality & love.
Art positively impacts cognitive and physical development, and promotes visual, motor and social skills.
Using art as a vehicle for expression is enriching and beneficial for everyone, since it’s a strong communication tool.
We strive on encouraging and promoting creativity and creative thinking, by giving free reign to the imagination and creative expression, which is key to building up confidence and self-esteem, as well as problem solving and decision making.
