About Trae

Peace! My name is Trae IsAAc, Fine Artist and Creative Director of over 10-years.

I am driven by a genuine passion for manifesting awe-inspiring and psychologically empowering pieces of art. Based on my life as person who has had to find power through loss and peace through discomfort. Primarily raised by my grandparents, losing my youngest brother and mother to cancer in my mid-teens were and still is the primary fuel to the fire that I use to push myself to create and provide for my family through art.

What inspires my psyche is a need to do and be greater for myself and those around me who I in-turn inspire and motivate. My artistic inspiration derives from the aesthetics and cultures of ancient Egypt, India, and Japan. I take those inspirations and combine them with the philosophies I’ve learned and developed, to create the images I do to this day.

As far as teaching goes, I've previously taught with Painting With A Twist from 2016 - 2018 and soon after began my own independent teaching/classes. That experience coupled with my extensive Fine Arts background which includes creatively working with notable brands and organizations such as: Peloton, Creed, The Detroit Lions, Beaumont Hospital, College For Creative Studies, and more.

I enjoy the gratification of being able to manifest art based on how you feel and what resonates with you as an individual. My goal is to provide art therapy through showcasing various styles and techniques that enable each student to create without bounds.

Through my existing love and career of art, combined with my experience working with Painting With A Twist for just over 2-years in New Orleans and Detroit. After working with PWAT I continued to provide art sessions and classes as part one of my creative and human services.

I can testify that art has saved and changed my life for the better, my goal is to provide art sessions and classes as a form of personal-outlet and therapy. I have a genuine passion for what I do and take immense time and energy to ensure that everything and everyone I am involved with gets my full effort.

Over 10-Years Fine Art, Creative Direction, and Art Teaching

About the lesson

New students are screened via phone interviews where we discuss what their creative needs are. I take that data and information to create a lesson plan that focuses on what each student wants to learn.

With my unique background in Fine Arts and an active Creative Tastemaker, Students have a one-of-one opportunity to learn from my personal trials and errors being an artist for myself and others (via commissioned art). I have created and showcased artworks via canvas and large-scale murals nationwide, and am willing to extend any knowledge and advice as to furthering your own artistic passion and career.
