About Patty

My goal is to give my students the skills and confidence to explore painting through personal, warm, tailored classes and studio sessions. I teach workshops in oils, acrylics, beginning water color, pastels and drawing.

I am a nationally recognized impressionist style, landscape painter who knows that Colorado is the perfect place to live and work! I would love to help you begin or continue your art journey.

I love creativity. I love art. I love helping people who want to learn to paint begin that journey.

I have worked with many top artists in workshops and as mentors. These include Don Sahli, Lorenzo Chaves and Kevin Weckbach. I have traveled and taught extensively.

About the lesson

When we first meet, we talk about your interests, art experience and hopes for your painting. I tailor our direction to help foster your skills, confidence and happiness in painting.

I have worked with people who have never picked up a piant brush to those with high school art experience to artists who paint regularly.

Find someone you are comfortable with and who is interested in who you are and your art journey.

I had a student last week that had never painted in her life. Her husband purchased studio time for her as an anniversary present. She was a little anxious to start, but as we worked along she realized she could do this. She left with a pretty little aspen painting, a huge smile and a happy heart.
