About Jordan

I am a graduate student at the University of Memphis, and have years of experience tutoring students in both lower and upper division physics courses. I also have experience preparing and presenting lectures for lab sections.

I graduated with my B.S in physics in 2019 and worked as a laboratory technician for two years before being accepted into graduate school. Even as a lab tech, I assisted students with homework and exam prep.

I love to discuss physics at all levels, and it brings me great joy to work with students who are just entering the world of physics. Due to the difficulty of the subject material, learning physics is an uphill battle, and once you reach the top, the material will click. Those moments of "Eureka!" in students is what I enjoy most about tutoring.

During my junior year of undergrad, I volunteered to be a tutor for trigonometry-based Physics I in order to assist my department and to improve my skills as a physicist.

Bachelor of Science in Phyiscs, minor in Mathematics.
