About Aaron
I'm Aaron! I'm a music lover and a teacher. I've played piano since I was ten years old, and couldn't stop since. My passion is commercial music, and that's why I pursued a Bachelor's in Commercial Music in Technology at Florida Atlantic University, but I am also still a lover of classical technique, and have taught both commercial and classical techniques extensively. I'm also really passionate about handing down the skills of music-making to others, with the piano being at the core of the music-making world.
I am a professional piano tutor, and I have 3+ years of experience with teaching. I'm interested in tutoring and teaching beginners, intermediate, and advanced students how to play piano, and I work really well with kids and adults. I love getting to know students and their parents (if they're kids of course!) and working to find the best curriculum. I have taught all ages from 4 to 85, and tailor my teaching to each specific student to meet their needs and goals.
I have had extensive Music Theory training from my private tutor, my Theory classes at FAU, and my applied lessons professors through FAU. I also have been trained in proper technique and have the tools to pass down proper classical piano techniques to my students. I'm also a songwriter, and I have played in numerous ensembles, including jazz/commercial ensembles throughout the years. I've also performed as a solo act at multiple venues, including The Maxwell C. King Center in Melbourne, FL.
