About Tyler

I love the feeling I get when I see a student of mine take what I've taught them and apply it to their own musical endeavors.

Music is my greatest passion, and helping others achieve in this field brings me the same joy as when I'm playing or writing music myself.

As a teacher I'll allow you to set your own course or I can plot one for you, it's up to the student ultimately.

I've been playing piano for 15 years, singing, songwriting, and producing with synthesizers for 5 years, and drumming for 3 years. I've also studied music theory, sound engineering, and the music industry extensively.

I love songwriting, composing, playing piano, singing, working with synthesizers and in logic pro X, and all the ins and outs of the modern music industry.

I currently teach children at the school of rock in Fort Washington, PA, and all ages of students at Music and Arts in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

About the lesson

Allowing them to learn whatever they please, but I will try to nudge their interests in a broad spectrum of music topics related to their main subject. Ultimately however it is up to them what they learn, and I will be patient and accepting of their choices.
