About Victoria
I teach about the neuroscience behind mental health, and how to help yourself to feel better by using skills that calm parts of your brain down. I've been teaching kids online age 8-18 since April of 2018. My goal is to reach people who need to learn about what is going on with their body when they are feeling overwhelming emotions, and help them to understand how to help themselves through these difficult emotions.

B.A. Psychology from Arizona State University

I was a substitute teacher for K-12 for a couple of years, then I started to teach classes online based in mental health.
I have a bachelor's in psychology from ASU and a master's in social work (concentration in mental health) from the University of Southern California. I regularly take courses to learn about neuropsychology, which I hope to attend a PhD program for in the future.

I first try to build rapport so the student feels comfortable working with me.
I've worked with all types of students, from ages 8-18 at the moment. I've worked with students who have developmental disabilities as well.
Make sure to find a teacher you feel comfortable with, who helps you to enjoy what it is you're learning about.
Soon I will be going to a ballet at the botanical gardens where I live, and I'm very excited!
