About Brian
I'm passionate about teaching English. You may watch a 1 minute youtube video about me here, (concealed information) . I teach students at their level. Whether, you need help with writing an essay for college or you're learning English as a second language, I'm here to help.
I was/am studying to be a minister. For many years I've done lots of 1 on 1 biblical studies tutoring. For English tutoring, a friend of my mother asked if I could tutor her in English. I really enjoyed the experience and helping her.
I took several English and Communication courses in college. Post college I read and studied two English grammars.

Listen, listen, oh and did I mention listening? There's no typical, cookie cutter, process for working with a new student. I listen to each individual student and adapt my teaching according to thier needs.
I do type up notes and in an organized matter after each lesson and send them to my students. This gives them something to review so they can retain what we went over during their lesson.
Make sure you really connect with your tutor. Different tutors are better fits for different people.
