About Roquita
Roquita Johnson is a certified World Class Speaking Coach who transforms men and women from simply being public speakers to being powerful presenters.
Roquita offers virtual one-one-one private coaching for individuals and customized trainings for companies, organizations, and churches. She has worked with a variety of people to become confident, engaging speakers.
Besides helping you become more comfortable overall in the art of public speaking and in-person/virtual presenting, some areas you and Roquita may work on together are:

I was always informally helping people with their public speaking skills, but I was officially hired by a couple to teach their children some years ago. They were my first clients, and then I got certified and have been training and teaching ever since.
I am a Certified World Class Speaking coach, a long time member of Toastmasters International and a past member of the National Speakers Association, current platform partner for Black Speakers Network, and I've competed and placed in numerous speech competitions - having won many. I also speak myself, in addition to training others.

I have an initial free discovery call to better understand the student's needs. This helps me learn what level they are at, and what specifically they need help in. Then I customize each session to focus on the topics that will help them meet their goals. Every person has a different speaking goal, and I first determine that. My clients are partners in the process with me, as they work hard to fulfill their goals.

I've worked with people in corporations, associations, the nonprofit sector and entrepreneurs. My main ents are adults 18 and up. I also have a youth public speaking program that I conduct once a year.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What am I strong in already, and what do I REALLY need help with. Just be honest with yourself. It's also helpful helpful to have a short recording of you speaking that the teacher can view, to see where your skills are at now. Have realistic expectations of what you want to accomplish and how long you expect it to take. Excellence is not done overnight :)

Details
I have two coaching packages that I offer - silver (4 sessions) and gold (9 sessions). Each session is one hour. The silver is good for people who have presented before and may need a bit of extra help or improvement with a presentation they're working on (or need a refresher), and the gold is great for people who are new to speaking and need lots of help. Silver is $1,050 and gold is $2,400.
