About Wendi
I was asked to substitute teach in the Aldine ISD located in Houston, TX. I loved interacting with the children. Then, I was invited to teach in China at a private English language center. I loved it and decided at that time in 2002 that I wanted to become a teacher.
I have my bachelor's of science and masters of science in Early Childhood Education; birth to age 8. I was trained in Reading Reflex, a reading program that helps students learn to read or improve their reading. I was trained in teaching English Language Learners.

My first meeting with the student will be spent assessing the student to see what they already know and can identify. Then I will create their reading lessons based off the information obtained.
I spent 10 years overseas teaching children from all over the world to speak, read and write English. I completed my bachelor's and master's degrees in Early Childhood (birth to 8 years old) and trained in teaching Reading and teaching English Language Learners.

Details
My pricing system is as follows:
In-Person: $20 for 30 minutes plus .20 per mile from my home in Brownsville, KY to yours round-trip.
Zoom: $15 for 30 minutes after initial in-person assessment. Cost for initial in-person assessment is $17 plus .20/mile round-trip.
