About Danielle
I am a high school senior, so I took the SAT recently and I can relate to you or your student personally and academically which I find makes my sessions for effective. Furthermore, I self-studied for my SAT to get a 180 point improvement (700+ in both categories).
I most enjoy seeing students change from disliking a subject because they don't understand it to that same subject becoming easy and enjoyable.
I started simply by helping friends understand topics they struggled with. By doing this, I found that I enjoyed the learning process and helping others understand certain things in easier ways.
I am a student, and I recently took the SAT. For this test, I studied completely by myself and got a 180 point increase. I scored above a 700 in both sections of the test.

I like to first watch how the student works through a variety of problem types. Many times I may ask for the student to explain their thought process out loud. From this, I customize my future tutoring plans based on the specific needs of each student.
I mostly work with students to prepare for the SAT. I have also worked with students for general math tutoring.
Look for someone who is willing to figure out how you learn best because every student benefits from a range of different learning styles, and if you have a tutor that only teaches one way to all their students, the sessions will not be as effective as possible.
