About Richard

We are not a one size fits all service. We know every student learns differently, and every student has different needs. So instead of trying to drive a square peg into a round hole, we work to make our disciplines fit you, as you work to fit those disciplines. It is a mutual process to arrive at the best possible results. It is a process that worked for us and started us on our journey over 40 years ago. It can work for you as well. I started in Kung Fu and Tai Chi both for health and self protection. I lived in areas that were dangerous and so martial arts were something that my parents sought out for me for my protection. At the same time, I did have health issues and the martial arts were also looked at as a solution for that as well. Indeed, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and the various other practices I do have both protected me and greatly benefited my health.

I have 45 years in Kung Fu and Tai Chi instruction. And I am a professional member of the American Tai Chi and Chi Kung Association as well as many other organizations, and have certificates for Black Sash/Belt in Kung Fu and have equivalent training and back ground in Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Chinese Wand, Meditation and other far eastern health and wellness practices.

About the lesson

Getting to know the student is typically sufficient. We do not treat students like a cog in a wheel. Instead, we treat them as unique individuals. So you will received instruction that fits your needs and your body.

I have worked with all ages, both male and female. I have worked with people who have various health issues and what might be considered by some, handicaps. We work with the individual, as previously noted, and regardless of the challenges you are facing, we can work with you so you can also enjoy all that Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and the other disciplines we teach, have to offer you.

Details

Group classes are purchased in 6 week blocks. Students can receive instruction once or twice a week. Once a week is $37 to $47. Twice a week is double that price. We also offer private and semi private classes which can be taken instead of group classes, or, as well as group classes. Those rates can be discussed on contact. We also do corporate classes for large or small businesses or organizations of various kinds.
