Here's what her students say...

"Ivette Viñas is a phenomenal Voice Coach. She not only teaches vocal skills but she inspires, motivates, and encourages you to reach your highest potential. She is also a wonderful person to be around. Follow your vocal dreams with her and you won’t be disappointed!" Erin Kendee, Voice Student

"Ivette is simply amazing! Kaitlyn has had 3 virtual lessons so far and Ivette is such a professional and has the patience of a Saint! I’ve been wanting to do this for Kaitlyn for a long time and so happy we have been able to make these virtual lessons work! Actually, virtual is ideal for our schedule!"Lori Dean - Parent

"I had the amazing opportunity of being one of Ivette students for voice and acting over quite a few years. She is an amazing person, artist, and teacher. Her profound love and appreciation for the arts go far beyond just the fundamentals and techniques we all must learn.

I learned quite a lot from Ivette especially how to be true to myself in my art. Some people are born with it, some learn it. All that matters is that, if you want it, you have to go out there and live it. Ivette embodies this passion and instills it in her students through her lessons. She lives it and it doesn’t stop at the end of your lesson.

Whether you are just learning the basics, want to focus on technique or just want to be a better performer, regardless of the medium. Ivette has the experience, knowledge and the kind of love for the arts that brings out the confidence and authenticity in any student or artist that she teaches."

(concealed information)

I began teaching in 2008, both privately and in schools. I've taught students of all ages, specializing in students ages 15 and up.

I've been teaching private voice and acting lessons since 2008 and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music and Theatre.

About the lesson

My process for working with a new student is to first get to know their goals and what they want to achieve by taking voice lessons with me. I go through vocal warm ups in order to assess student's range and pitch. I then go through breathing exercises, proper posture for singing, and have them do a list of their favorite singers and songs. I encourage my students to keep a music journal and show them how to use it in order to become inspired and keep growing artistically.

Students of all ages. I specialize in students ages 15 years old and up.
