About Pedro
Hi there!
My name is Pedro Ruiz and I am a singer songwriter. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's Degree in Songwriting but I have been singing for as long as I can remeber.
My journey trhough music has taken me down various different paths over the years. I have been fortunate with the opportunity of studying multiple instruments like trumpet, piano and guitar over a variety of different genres (Classical, Jazz, R&B, Pop, etc.). Although my voice is my main form of self expression, expanding my knowledge across various instruments has given me the necessary tools and freedeom to explore other creative outlets like songwriting, music composition, arranging and more. Leading me to were I am today.
I belive that a great artist is not a product of a single talent or skill but rather a collection of parts that come together to make something special. In my lessons I want to help my students not only expand their skills and reach their personal goals but rather provide them with the nessesary space and support so they can become the kind of artist they've always dreamed of being.
My qualifications:
- 5+ years of teaching experience
- 10+ years of field work experience
- Proficient in: voice, piano, trumpet and guitar
