About Calvin
I've been singing at a professional level since I was nine years old and I just graduated with a Music degree from Princeton University. At school I studied bel canto Tenor and Countertenor techniques and I participated in The Glee Club, Chamber Choir, and other ensemebles and led my a cappella group as Music Director. My teaching style is informed by a vast amount of experience but can be tailored to any voice range, style, or ability level.
I love to sing and I strongly believe in the healing power of singing. Exploring music with the voice is one of the greatest investments you can make. There are so many unique properties about the voice and honing your ability to use it is immediately rewarding like nothing else.
I taught some of my colleagues pro bono in college.
I've been singing since I was 9 years old and have had professional training for the last 13 years as my voice developed. In college I not only took lessons but also sang in ensembles for many hours a week.

I would advise you to find someone who is amenable to your needs. It also can be helpful to have a teacher of the same vocal ranger and/or gender.
I love to do close harmony singing. I recently performed a lovely piece called "The Long Day Closes" with the guys in the graduating class of my a cappella group.
