About Sydney
I am a Second semester freshman at Vanderbilt University studying Music Education as well as Vocal Performance. I have gained teaching experience throughout high school as well as a little so far in college
I was a music leader of my high school A Cappella group and I worked as part of a music help service for students at th school who wanted a little extra help learning music.
I am looking for students who are looking for lessons but may not have a whole lot of experience. I like to teach all kinds of music, but I have the most experience teaching and singing classical/opera and pop music.
I have been envolved in music since I was 2 years old. My parents enrolled me in a pusic program for toddlers and from then on music has been my entire life. My senior year of high school, I was in 3 choral ensembles, ranging from pop to choral to jazz, I was music leader of my A Cappella group Renegade A Cappella, and I was part of 2 choirs outside of school associated with the Handel and Haydn society, one treble and one mixed. I love to help people in general so teaching seems to be the perfect job for me. I am looking to teach at any level age wise, so all levels and experiences are welcome from elemetary musicians who have never sung before to high school aged experienced students. I love what I do and I am so excited to spend my last summer before college doing something I love.

I would like to start with an initial lesson to see where the student is at and see what kinds of things I would be able to help with, specifically to see if it would be a productive partnership for both me and the student
