About Elyse
Having played for 10 years myself, and teaching for 3, I understand the blessing that comes from being able to express yourself through music.
I want my students to feel confident that they can achieve any musical goal they set their minds to.
I've taught students of all ages and levels. I know how to craft my lessons for the best possible benefit for my students.
I am very flexible and excited to continue teaching others how to express themselves through art!
I began teaching my younger brothers as a chore for my mother. I realized that I really enjoyed watching another progress in my favorite instrument through my help. So, I branched out and began gaining more and more students.
I have played for 10 years and recieved lessons for 7 of those years. I then began teaching on my own and have loved helping over 10 students begin to learn for themselves.

I teach during the school year and except new students all year long. Upon receiving a new students I establish a time that works for both me and them and then we adjust for the needs of that individual student.
I have worked with ages from 5 to 16.
At the end of every school year I host a recital and lunch for all my students. It is both extremely fun for the students and for me to see all that time and practicing result in something they're proud of.

I teach half-hour lessons once a week. For a lesson in my own house I charge $15 for a lesson where I travel to you I charge $18.
