About Barbara
I make a long term commitment to the students I take, sometimes lasting for as many as ten years. They have played in all-region and all-state orchestras, Little Rock Youth Orchestras, and local and international music camps. My students grow into a level that they can play for a professional orchestra, several attending and playing in their college orchestras. I continue to play professionally in Jonesboro, (Delta Symphony Concertmaster) and Little Rock (Arkansas Symphony) while directing my community group in Batesville. I have a 30 year relationship with Arkansas Symphony, and a prior member of Fort Worth Symphony, and extra with Milwaukee Symphony. I have my Bachelor and Master degree in performance and music education and currently teach with the Batesville School District and Lyon College, and a member of ASTA and ASBOA.
