About Sarai
I am classically trained in violin and viola. I graduated from LIU Post with a degree in Instrumental Performance in May. I was the concertmaster of the LIU Post Orchestra and won the 2018 Concerto Competiton and performed the Vieuxtemps No 4 with the orchestra. I completed both Music History and Theory Exams. I have won numerous awards including the Music History, Piano, Strings,Sightsinging ans Keyboard Harmony Award. I was granted the Deans Award for service in Instrumental Performance this year and graduated Post Summa Cum Laude. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and have done so since 12th grade of high school. I am determined and enthusiastic and all my students do quite well in NYSSMA and have also been accepted to LISFA and SCMEA. I teach at the LI Prep school in Commack as well as privately. Music is my life and I will continue to instill my love of music to others.
