Welcome to Dig with D by Deonna Robinson in San Diego, CA! With a focus on personalized coaching, I specialize in developing your volleyball skills;with an emphasis on everything defensive, serving, and serve receive. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique! As a dedicated solo trainer, I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, ensuring you receive the attention and expertise required to elevate your game. Starting in sixth grade as a setter and defensive specialist, I quickly fell in love with the game, leading to an impressive high school career. As a freshman, I joined the junior varsity team as a starting libero, earning captaincy in both freshman and sophomore years. Continuing on to varsity, I was a standout libero and captain during junior and senior years, recognized with first-team honors in the conference for service aces and digs per set.

In addition to high school competition, I played for Club Roseville and High Impact Volleyball Club, further refining skills and leadership on the court. My coaching journey began in high school, assisting younger teams during practices and workshops, which ignited a passion for mentoring.

After high school, I continued my volleyball career at community college, where I was a starting libero and served as team captain during the sophomore season. Under my leadership, our team won the conference, and I earned first-team all-conference honors for service aces once again.

In my first year of college, I began assistant coaching under my head coach during the club season for a 15s and 16s power girls team. This experience fueled my passion for coaching, leading to my involvement in hosting defensive clinics. I also had the opportunity to serve as the head coach for a 16s girls area team during the offseason, a role I truly loved.

Since relocating to San Diego, I am eager to share my extensive knowledge and passion for volleyball with aspiring athletes, fostering a positive and competitive environment that encourages growth both on and off the court.
