About Tish
I have the experience of having taught over 4000 yoga classes and workshops as of 2005 and a personal practice since 1984. Over the years I have learned to provide clear and direct anatomical cueing for body alignment in the yoga postures. This clarity and approach to cueing will enhance the experience for the students by bringing greater understanding of the body alignment and safe progression for each individual level of practice.
I am aware of the challenges that a yoga asana (posture) practice presents and am sensitive to the needs of beginning students. My goals in each class are to provide a safe and inviting space to practice in, help each student learn something about the practice of yoga as well as enjoy the experience of practicing in that moment.
My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the growth and increased confidence students experience with a sustained yoga practice. I enjoy working with beginners in establishing a solid foundation that they can build upon - regardless of the teacher or style of yoga they may practice with in the future.
