About Emily

My experience working with toddlers, children, teens, adults, adults with history of injury, and elders helps me stand out with my mission to share that yoga is for EVERYbody! I love my work, mostly i love to watch my students become more flexible in their minds and their bodies and tap into their authentic selves. My most satisfying moments are when i watch a student go deeper with their breath, and release some longheld tension and heaviness from their bodies. A big true, deep exhale during savasana always makes me smile, knowing that they will feel lighter and brighter.

I enjoy the personal connection i have with my students. We live in a very disconnected and busy world where the divide happens both interpersonally as well as within. Yoga gives us a tool to connect with our breath and bodies making it more accessible to connect with others.

I have been a holistic bodyworker since 2000. My sense of anatomy and love of movement start there. My 500 hour yoga training and my own personal practice have ignited my passion for mindful movement in all of its facets. I love my work and i love to help people find confidence and empowerment in their own sacred practice.

About the lesson

An over phone consultation to understand clear needs and goals of students, and a quick inquiry of health and body limitations. Then a plan regarding appointment time opportunities and subjective/objective goals going forth.
