Initial phone or virtual consult to meet client and learn about their current lifestyle and what their motivation is for hiring a coach/trainer. At this time we will discuss client's background, medical, exercise and life history and determine the client's long and short term goals and set up a game plan for achieiving those goals.
I work with students of all levels. I am a teacher at heart so I love work with students that have a desire to learn how to connect with their bodies and intuitively trust and understand what they need to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
Ask a lot of questions.
I recently taught a small group of students. One man arrived to class a few minutes late. After class he admitted that he wasn't planning on staying because he felt he had better things to do like work and couldn't justify taking the time off. He ended up staying for the whole class and shared this with me afterwards. He had gotten so much out of the class that he realized he needed to figure out how to add yoga into his life.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out

I came to Bonnie with a very specific problem - Diastis Recti after having a baby. Bonnie worked with me on all the tiny little muscles that were affected, and was encouraging along the way. I have finally gotten strong enough to do planks, and I'm even able to get back into some yoga movements . . . things I thought I would never be able to do again. I strongly recommend Bonnie!
Totally knowledgeable, excellent verbal directions as well as demonstrations, hands-on when correcting, sense of humor.
