About Nikki
Hey there fellow human, my name is Nikki! As a certified yoga teacher, it is safe to say that my life as a student will always continue. We never stop learning! In fact, we are all students AND teachers! Each and every one of us! Allow me to help you with your yoga practice, but forget the label "teacher" let's be yoga friends! Yoga friendships are the best! If you have any goals, or just want to get into yoga, I can definitely be there by your side! Once I get to know you, I can create a flow exclusively for you to target specific areas of the body you want to focus on! I teach private one-on-one so that I can really focus on giving you the attention you need!
I love that there is so much more to yoga than just physical movement. Yoga connects you to your mind and spirit while your body benefits from the poses & transitions. Yoga saved my life, and I want it to save other people's lives the way it has saved mine. I love how yoga allows us to release emotions and thoughts that hold us back. Experiencing emotional releases can be vulnerable. Yoga can and will cause vulnerability which is beautiful and exactly why I LOVE yoga. When people are vulnerable, they are raw, true, and fierce! Yoga allows for shedding layers of skin from the past, skin that is no longer you, yet you might still be wearing it although it's dead. What is your story? Are you holding on to stories that serve no more purpose to your life? Yoga teaches you to let go. With each breath. Inhale that which serves you, exhale that which no longer serves you. The only true moment is the present moment. And when we hold onto the past, we cannot fully accept the magic of the here and now. I love being able to live in the moment with people, make true connections, let go, shed skin, and move on!
