About Taunia

I focus on individual needs of students and clients. Fitness classes: yoga, Pilates, barre. I am also a holistic health coach helping people gain the confidence and learn more about what their body truly needs. Clients come to me to reduce stress, lose weight, positive mindset, gain confidence, believe in themselves and gain better functional movement.

I love seeing people feel better after taking a class or having a health coaching session with me. It gives me joy to see others become happier with themselves and to learn more about what they need.

I have been a 20+ year pilates student and found it to personally be the exercise that helped me the most with my back issues. I then decided that I wanted to become an instructor to share fitness with others who may feel they are limited to what they can do or afraid to try something new or just looking to add something new to their routine.

Over the years, I also gained my barre and yoga certifications as they complimented my own fitness routine greatly and wanted to also share this with others.

I've worked with students ranging in age from 14 - 93 years of age.

Look for someone who is willing to listen to you and what you need vs put you thru a cookie cutter program.

You are the expert of your own body. Pain is never the goal.

Be open to trying something new as it may be exactly what your body needs!

My students come to classes stating that they knew they needed to come and when the are finished with the class, they often comment how they feel a release that they need and are so grateful for the experience.

I’d previously taken pilates group classes at a fitness club but much prefer Taunia’s patient and encouraging one on one sessions for beginning yoga and upper body strengthening exercises. Her space is inviting and well equipped. Her knowledge is evident in the way she modified things to accommodate previous injuries that have left me with some limitations. Currently teaching group yoga classes at Nspired Yoga in Rockford - Thursdays at 6:45pm

Walk in cost: $10 per class

Private sessions: $65 per session options at 2 studios for privates with Taunia

Health Coaching is $65 per session and can be done in person in the Rockford, IL area or via a webinar private connection.
