About Eli

I am a passionate flute tutor who loves helping students explore music with creativity and skill. My teaching combines mentorship, accountability, and critical thinking to foster steady growth. I focus on tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while encouraging self-expression. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening skills to develop well-rounded musicianship. Creativity is a key part of my lessons, including improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling. I guide students to set goals, practice consistently, and take ownership of their progress. Mistakes are treated as valuable learning opportunities. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace, level, and interests. I act as a mentor, offering guidance, motivation, and constructive feedback. Lessons are structured yet engaging, combining technical work with creative exploration. I emphasize reflection, problem-solving, and critical thinking in every session. My goal is to build confidence, independence, and a love for music in all students. I also teach related subjects such as performance skills, theory, and rhythm. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting. My ultimate aim is to help students become expressive, confident, and lifelong learners of music.

About the lesson

My teaching style for flute blends creativity with thoughtful structure. I believe that students learn best when they are inspired and encouraged to think independently. Each lesson focuses on both technique and imagination. I help students explore their own musical voice while developing strong fundamentals.
