About Myriam

I moved to Toronto from Quebec City in 2001. I have taught grades 7 to 12 in all French schools. I also taught French immersion. I have taught many subjects over the years including all subjects in grades 7 and 8.

I have been tutoring for a few years now and I found that online through a website that offers tailored activities works best for me. I have tutored kids from all ages. I also have been teaching within the IB programs since 2012. I am also an examiner and a workshop leader.

About the lesson

Learning becomes easier when you understand how to learn.

I am an experienced Ontario teacher in an all French school. I have tutored students from grade 1 to grade 12-Core French and French Immersion. I also teach within the International Baccalaureate Program.

My lessons are personalized to each student. I don't simply provide answers or help finish homework. I create a website only for you. I identify what is causing difficulty, explain concepts in a clear and accessible way, and teach strategies that help students become more confident and independent learners.

I can support students in French, French Immersion, social sciences and humanities, IB Theory of Knowledge, IB Psychology, History, research skills, essay writing, study strategies and organization.

As a classroom teacher, I understand curriculum expectations, assessment and the challenges faced at school. I also have extensive experience adapting instruction for different learning needs and helping students who feel overwhelmed, discouraged or behind.

For IB students, I offer specialized support with course content, exam preparation, research methodology, Extended Essay and Internal Assessment skills while respecting IN academic-integrity requirements.

Whether your goal is to improve a grade, prepare for assessment, strengthen your French, master a difficult concept or simply feel more confident at school, we will start from where you are and build from there.
