I met Emmanuelle at CLE in Tours, France where she was and is teaching French to non-native speakers. For the past few years I have been taking one to one classes with her by Skype twice a month when I am not in France. Emmanuelle is ready for each session after giving me assignments to prepare for the session. We decide together what I will work on-dictation, reading an article in Le Monde of my choice as well as grammar and "orthgographe." We spend a part of each session in general conversation as my primary goal is to improve my oral comprehension and expression. I highly recommend Emmanuelle to anyone who would like to improve their abilities with the French language.

I started taking classes with Emmanuelle in 2016 when I was studing in France. In 2020 I reconnected with her and started taking online private sessions. Today, I continue to take weekly lessons with her. She is a wonderful teacher who explains very clearly and provides homework for specific areas where I have had problems. She is funny, personable and compassionate. I can honestly say she is one of the best teachers I have ever had and I highly recommend her.

Emmanuelle is a fantastic teacher! She was my prof this spring for several weeks in an intensive language course, and then for another two months I had one-on-one conversational sessions with her for an hour each week. Really superb teaching, and she really helped me improve my French.
For both in-class and conversational sessions, she always came with interesting activities and challenges. In addition, she always met students (including me) where we were -- listening carefully to what we said and then gently pointing out patterns and correcting mistakes. Ideal!
