About Dean

My teaching approach in Chemistry is nurturing, personalized, and focused on helping students excel. I support students from diverse backgrounds, including wildlife photographers and medical technologists, in developing a deeper appreciation of chemistry’s role in their work and the world. I guide them to think critically, solve problems creatively, and apply knowledge responsibly. Learning chemistry with me is interactive, engaging, and meaningful. About the lesson

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Chemistry. I’m passionate about helping students understand the principles of green chemistry and sustainable synthesis. My goal is to make complex topics accessible while showing how chemistry can be practiced responsibly.

I guide students through strategies like atom economy, catalysis, solvent-free reactions, and waste reduction to design environmentally friendly chemical processes. I emphasize the importance of minimizing waste and using resources efficiently. Lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s pace and curiosity.

Over the years, I’ve helped students develop innovative thinking and adopt responsible chemical practices. I enjoy seeing them connect theory to real-world applications that promote sustainability. Together, we explore creative solutions to chemical challenges while keeping environmental impact in mind.
