About Jeong
Hello! I’m Jeong Lee, a professional flutist and music educator based in Michigan. Byron Center and Grandville area. I graduated from Trinity College of Music in London with scholarships. I’ve performed as principal flutist of the Dart Orchestra and have won prizes in national music competitions in Korea. As an ABRSM Registered Teacher, I bring both European musical training and years of successful teaching experience to my students.

Experience I have performed as principal flute in the Dart Orchestra and won prizes at national competitions in Korea. As an ABRSM Registered Teacher, I’ve taught students preparing for ABRSM exams, All-State Solo & Ensemble festivals, and college auditions. My Lessons I offer flute lessons for all levels — from beginners learning how to produce a beautiful tone to advanced students refining phrasing and interpretation. My approach combines solid technique, expressive musicality, and confidence building. Over the years, I’ve helped numerous students prepare for All-State Solo & Ensemble competitions and music auditions — many of them earning top ratings and awards. One of my students became the Washington State Champion in flute performance, and several have continued on to advanced youth orchestras and college music programs. Whether you are preparing for a competition, building confidence for your school band, or rediscovering music as an adult, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals. Lesson Options Lessons are available both in person (Grand Rapids / Byron Center area) and online via Zoom. I provide customized practice materials, duets, and performance coaching. Lessons can be taught in English or Korean. Let’s Begin! Whether you’re learning for fun or preparing for auditions, I’ll help you enjoy the process and reach your musical goals.
