I’m Shima Khalighi, a PhD-trained educator in Cognitive Modeling (Neuroscience) with a strong academic background in Mathematics and over 6 years of teaching experience. My work sits at the intersection of math education and brain science, which allows me to approach teaching in a more effective and strategic way than traditional tutoring. I don’t rely on memorization-based methods—instead, I design each lesson to align with how the brain naturally learns, helping students improve their focus, understanding, and long-term retention. I have worked with students across a wide range of levels, supporting both those who need to strengthen their foundations and those aiming for advanced performance. My teaching style is structured, analytical, and highly personalized, ensuring that each student receives targeted support based on their needs and learning style.
